Vinyl Dry Bag Repair Kit

Vinyl dry bags.  They’re tough until they’re not.  Dry bags are great, but they’re spendy, and because I only get paid in salt, I like to repair them when they get holes or torn seams.  

Sealline’s Vinyl Dry Bag Repair kit (gotta get the full name in there for Google!) should be part of your at home repair kit for your outdoors gear.  If you use vinyl dry bags.  Now, you might be thinking, why would I put my vinyl in a dry bag?  Let me just tell you that if you refer to records as vinyl, or worse, vinyls, you are a dead to me.  They are either: records, LP’s or 33’s.  That’s it.  Do you refer to your T shirt as your ‘cotton’? Or your beanie as my ‘wool’?  No.  

Back to dry bags.  Vinyl dry bags are the beefy ones, slick, shiny, heavy duty.  The kind you could slide down a rock face and not worry about.  If you have a silnylon dry bag, cool, use the tenacious tape patches for that.  

This kit can repair holes or busted seams.  You can do the repair in the field, so if you are on a mega trip, bring these patches, tenacious patches, gorilla tape and super glue gel, plus an embroidery needle and polyester thread.  Then you can repair whatever, and the repair kit weighs just a few ounces.  Less than your first aid kit.
