One Up 70cc Mini Pump

Chubby high volume air mover made to pump out the jams, like some weird hybrid between Reebok and the MC5.  Ok, reaching there.  Here’s what you need to know:  no mini pump is gunna seat a tubeless tire, but very few flats in the field need a pump to reseat a tire.  So you just need to put air back in a tire, not pop a bead on.  With that in mind, the best pumps for big mountain tires or even high volume gravel tires is a pump which moves lots of air fast.  For that you need a fat barrel.  Both the 70cc and 100cc pump move the most air of any pump of their size.  Get the 70cc pump if you have a small saddle bag or you’re a weight weenie.  Get the 100cc if you have a bigger bag and just want the best mini pump out there.

Both pumps are dead simple to use.  Just jam the pump head on the valve stem and go.  No levers to break, no valve cores to accidentally unscrew.  The one up pumps are rebuildable.  They’re constructed of a series of aluminum shafts, so they don’t swell like plastic pumps.  When you get to higher pressures, they still pump smoothly.

Bike packing / commuting / touring / mountain biking.   If you are running tires over 44mm wide, get one of these pumps.  Both pumps can store the One Up Multi tool in the handle, and the bigger pump can take the multi tool and a dynaplug pill.  Good combo!  Although you can store this pump on your water bottle cage bosses, we recommend putting it in a bag.  Not because the pump will fall off, but because it will stay cleaner and last longer in a bag.
